ModernClassicSaab Performance Engine Mount Kit for Saab 900 Classic models with hydraulic style engine mounts. Designed to fit in all three locations, but MCS recommends starting with the front position, followed by the right position for high horsepower applications. These engine mounts are machined out of billet block of 6061 aluminum and use a commonly available Poweflex bushing.

Over time, and especially on tuned cars, the factory hydraulic engine mounts wear and allow the engine and transmission to move around too much. Since the shifter linkage is a single shaft, this can result in shifter movement in high load situations and on quick load changes. This can even lead to the shifter popping out of gear, due to its movement being limited. The ModernClassicSaab Performance Engine Mount Kit helps maintain engine and transmission position, in turn helping to improve shift quality and feel. The billet aluminum construction with a PowerFlex bushing means this engine mount will probably outlast the car it’s installed in, and if the bushing does wear, it can easily be replaced with a commonly available piece instead of having to hunt for good used OEM or mediocre quality aftermarket engine mounts.
